Brooklyn Flea at Skylight One Hanson
This weekend has been pretty lovely. Yesterday I trekked out to the Upper East Side to catch the tram to Roosevelt Island and saw some amazing views of the Manhattan skyline. Then I went to the lower East Side to meet up with L. and saw Kenny Scharf's mural on the wall at Houston and Bowery. We walked around the neighborhood, had a really lovely dinner and headed back Greenpoint.
This morning I headed down to the Brooklyn Flea to look around and see what the vendors had to offer.
Of note, SKT Ceramics had a table with some lovely wheel thrown and hand painted porcelain pieces. The artist, Susannah Tisue, is based in Brooklyn. You can purchase them here and go here for some more information. Here are a few of my favorite pieces.
